    As founder of Andrews Distributing, Barry Andrews has been instrumental in his company’s advancement and growth in the Texas beer business. With over 32 years of experience in this exciting industry, Barry has grown Andrews to a company of 1,000 employees and 12 warehouses in North and South Texas. 

    Barry is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University and after college he returned to his hometown, Corpus Christi, where he founded Andrews Distributing in 1976. Barry is an active civic leader in both Corpus Christi and Dallas, and has served in numerous capacities through various industry organizations. Barry also enjoys being politically active to help support the advancement of the beer industry in Texas and nationwide. He and his wife have two children and two granddaughters.

    As President of Andrews Distributing, Mike is responsible for ensuring organizational alignment and communicating the company’s mission, purpose, values and goals, both internally and externally. 

    Prior to becoming President, Mike held the position of Executive VP of Marketing, Brand Management and Information Technology. Mike serves on the Board of Directors for Plains Capital Corporation, Heineken USA’s National Business Council and the Highland Park United Methodist Church Pastor Parish Relations Committee. He holds a Management degree from Boston College and a MBA from Southern Methodist University. He and wife Natalie are the parents of two children.

    With over 25 years of experience in the beer industry, Mike currently serves as the General Manager for North Texas.  Mike started his career with Miller Brands in Denver and has held several positions at Andrews since relocating to Dallas in 1994. 

    Mike holds an engineering degree from Central Missouri State University, where he was the team captain of the football team and also played rugby. Mike is involved with the National Charity League and serves on two National Distribution Advisory Councils. He and his wife Darla have two children.

    A veteran of the beer business since 1982, Jim has held multiple positions at Andrews in sales, national account management and brand management. Jim currently oversees and develops brand strategies for Andrews’ Craft, Specialty and Import Brands. Outside of work, Jim is the proud Co-founder of the Bishop Dunne Marcus Somerstein Scholarship Fund, which has awarded 16 college scholarships over the past nine years to financially challenged students. He and wife Jasmine have five children and nine grandchildren.

    Bea is a graduate of Texas A&I Kingsville and is actively involved with the Catholic Daughters of America. She and her husband Armando have been happily married for 31 years and their son Daniel also works for Andrews.

    David is a senior HR executive with over 24 years of HR and leadership experience. Before coming to Andrews, David led his own Human Resources consulting company, Compass Human Capital Advisors. During that time, he assumed the VP of Human Resources executive responsibilities at companies including Insight Equity and Reddy Ice. David previously held the VP of Human Resources position for Mission Foods, where he provided HR support for the company’s two divisions and 6,000 employees. He has also worked at Telvista Incorporated, the Regus Group, and in several other industries. His capabilities in talent management and development align with our goal of developing our team into the nations leading brand builders.

    David grew up in Carrollton and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received a BS in Engineering with a focus of study in Organizational Behavior and Leadership. He served in the US Army for 6 and 1/2 years, including the Desert Storm Operation. His bravery in this operation was awarded with a Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal with “V” device for valor and heroism under enemy fire. After serving our country, David graduated from the University of Texas Austin’s McCombs School of Business with an MBA in Management.

    Bob Sullivan joins the Andrews Distributing team as Vice President of Specialty and Craft beer brand building. As VP of Specialty and Craft brand building Bob is responsible for the portfolio strategy, key brewer relationships, new brewer development, the specialty and craft brand management team at Andrews as well as being a key contributor to Andrews Force 4 team. The Andrews portfolio for specialty and craft beer is planned to be over 2.7mm case equivalents in 2013. Bob will also be a member of Andrews Cross Functional leadership team that collaborates on Andrews’ business strategy and alignment to ensure success against its objectives.
