As the world's largest single-night fundraiser for cancer research through the American Cancer Society, Dallas' Cattle Baron's Ball has made it's mark on both Texas culture and history. The Cattle Baron's Ball has raised nearly $40 million in just 35 year in its ongoing pursuit of a cure for cancer. One hundred active volunteers are responsible for raising the funds that my make the ultimate difference in the lives of those who are coping with cancer.

Treasure Street was established in 1996 by a TSRHC patient family in an effort to raise funds for the TSC Clinic at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC), where their granddaughter receives care for tuberous sclerosis complex. Over the course of 14 years, the event has grown from a small gathering to an outdoor gala under the stars with more than 1,100 attendees, extravagant auction items and five-star cuisine. Raising more than $6.3 million to date, today, the TSC Clinic at TSRHC serves as the model clinic for others throughout the world.

For 13 years, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) has been the primary beneficiary of the Dallas White Rock Marathon. TSRHC treats Texas children with orthopedic conditions such as scoliosis, hand disorders, hip disorders, clubfoot and limb length differences as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia, at no charge to patient families. Events like the marathon allow the hospital to continue to provide the highest quality medical care to Texas children.
